Today was about progress. My Inquiry group made substantial gains in preparation for our demonstration lesson on Friday. We were able to finalize our roles in the lesson, as well as our content and method of presenting. Tomorrow we will be practicing to work out any potential problems. I was also able to finalize my topic for my argumentative piece, which I will be working on tonight. My narrative is a few clicks away from being submitted! Once again, the time today proved to be helpful, as I was able to get constructive feedback on some of my issues, while having enough time to address them.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that things are working well for you. I thank you for your comments yesterday on the informative activity that we did. I, for one, am able to see different aspects of informative writing after that conversation. I know the activity was confusing at first, but I'm glad you all were able to figure it out by asking questions, informing me of your confusion. I made some changes on the fly, and will think through it more for next year, if I go in the same sort of direction! Who knows if CCSS will still be "the thing" next year???
